Do you take private health insurance

Yes! We accept all major private health insurance which means you can claim your rebates with this offer and all future visits.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No you do not. You can come to visit without a referral, all you need to do is complete the form above to book your first appointment with Dr Jake Currie (chiro).

Will the treatment hurt or make my pain worse?

The style of treatment used at Noosa Sports Chiropractic is incredibly gently, most of our patients are surprised by the big changes that can come from such small adjustments. We do not use any heavy or painful manipulations.

How many sessions will I need?

That will be dependant upon your condition and how long you have had the problem. After your first session Dr Jake Currie (chiro) will give you a breakdown of your diagnosis, and approximate number of treatments required. Every person is different so this will vary based on what you present with.

What will happen in my first visit?

In your first visit you will meet in a 1:1 appointment with Dr Jake Currie (chiro). In this appointment Jake will take a thorough medical history asking you about any illnesses and past injuries. Then you will move on to the examination, where Jake will conduct neurological, physical, and orthopaedic examination to identify the cause of your problem. You will also receive a digital posture assessment that comes with a report. Jake will then give you an explaination of your condition and provide you with your first adjustment (if clinically indicated). You may be referred for spinal x-rays which are bulk billed through Medicare.

Do you take x-rays?

Not in house, however you may be referred to a local x-ray clinic should we need spinal x-rays. These x-rays are bulk billed via Medicare which means you will have no out of pocket expenses.
